Too often, workshops are held without a facilitator, or a facilitators is appointed without the skills and experience resulting in long lasting meetings without the required added value.
A facilitator [1] is a person who contributes structure and process to interactions so groups are able to function effectively and make high-quality decisions. The Facilitator is a helper and enabler whose goal is to support others as they pursue their objectives. The role of facilitator is a key contributor to the success, particularly in determining whether the risk workshop achieves its objectives.
Facilitated Workshops will be preferably held with experienced professionals from all required disciplines including business, and client representatives.
Key to success are the different stages of a workshop meaning the preparation phase, the workshop phase and the post workshop phase. The three stages including the required deliverables will be discussed and agreed a couple of weeks prior the workshop. We standardised the three stages of above mentioned workshops however, we can tailer them to your requirements if needed.
Boelens Projects In Control B.V. has facilitated many workshops on Risk and Opportunity Management and Lessons Leant. Furthermore, we and our partners can help you with other workshops as well like Interactive Planning workshops, Value Engineering, and more.
We developed in-house templates for the required registers and we can easily prepare the workshop booklet and PowerPoint presentations using BPIC’s standards if needed.
Do you know that we can facilitate the workshop process using, for example, Microsoft Teams Software?
